PAIR Alerts is our Patent Application Information Retrieval Alert service that keeps you up-to-date on the status of public patent applications. The PAIR Alerts service sends out an automated
e-mail notification when a subscribed patent has a new transaction or new document on the USPTO Public PAIR site.

You may also receive alerts to the child applications of a patent. If you select that feature, a new patent subscription
is automatically created for each child patent.
